Sweden, 13^th of October 2011 – OrganoClick’s daughter company OrganoWood AB, will today launch OrganoWood®-modified timber decking material at Sweden’s largest fair for house and home owners, Hem & Villa. Being completely free from biocides and heavy metals the timber decking material provides a new and unique environmentally friendly solution for terraces and decks with extraordinary properties. Except a protection to fungal decay it also provides the highest European flame retardant class for wood (B_fl-s1).

The product is made from selected high quality Nordic pine which has been modified with OrganoWood’s technology. By attaching silicon compounds to the fibers, a physical barrier is created that protects the wood from fungal attacks and also adds a fire protection. The timber decking will be launched and shown on the Hem & Villa fair, which will take place in Stockholm October 13-16 in Älvsjömässan.
